Teaching the IB Diploma Program has extended and elevated my teaching skills. IB Chemistry has increased my personal scientific knowledge and skills and made me a much more effective and knowledgeable science teacher. I particularly enjoy teaching the ESS course as it allows me to connect many of my personal passions and interests with subject curriculum.
-
Working with the Protect Our Future club has allowed me to establish new strategies to develop youth voice and student led initiatives. I am very proud of the local and international activities my students have been a part of. Including being panelist speakers at the UN COP 26 conference in Glasgow, and recently becoming the George Town Harbor Hope Spot Champions for the internationally recognized conservation organization Mission Blue.
